About the Olive Branch Institute
The Olive Branch Institute was formed with a belief in constructive conflict. If managed well and navigated carefully, conflicts hold the potential to build better relationships, better teams, better organizations.
Pulling from the experience of its membership in managing hundreds of family mediations and other conflicts, The Olive Branch Institute employs a thoughtful, pragmatic, and holistic approach to problem-solving. A habit of neutrality further allows for unbiased and candid examination of issues while enabling communication, regardless of prior contentiousness. A multicultural background ensures a fluency across demographics.
At The Olive Branch Institute, the aim is to grow, preserve, and empower working relationships as parties navigate transitions. When this is accomplished, resolution becomes more than just the fruit of our efforts today; it becomes the seed for your relationships tomorrow.
Mission
To transform conflict, not erase it. Conflict is natural. Conflict is relatable. Conflict is useful. And conflict does not have to be harmful.
The Olive Branch Institute strives to alleviate the process by eliminating the zero-sum mentality and building on common objectives. We don't harp on about win-win ideologies, but we do embrace the notion that everyone can benefit when a conflict is well-managed.
This is achieved by promoting communication and knowledge by facilitating an understanding of people, cultures, and conflicts through every encounter.
